Alpaca Sports is based in Gothenburg, Sweden. The group features Andreas Jonsson on lead vocals and guitar, and according to the official Alpaca Sports Facebook page, many of Andreas’ friends as well. Most notable of these friends is Amanda Åkerman, whose backing vocals can be heard on many of the band’s tracks.
“I Was Running” is an indie pop jam with great vocal harmony between Andreas Jonsson and Amanda Åkerman. It’s a great pick-me-up as we head towards the weekend, and is set to be released as 7″ in the UK via Dufflecoat Records on August 30.
