All is well in the world, as a dark track gets a fittingly dark remix. This isn’t the first time Alt-J’s “Fitzpleasure” has landed in the cross-hairs of other artists (see Jim James’, for example), but it’s certainly a really interesting one to listen to.
The man responsible is BetatraXx, who adds a thoroughly diverse electronic edge to the track. Drifting from dubstep to industrial to electro-funk, he crafts a landscape that’s unique, and quite frankly hard to build a playlist off of.
We actually haven’t heard from BetatraXx since he remixed Metric’s “Gold Guns Girls” way back in 2010. Quite a long hiatus for a remixer…but that’s probably just our fault for not featuring his newer content.
