German producer Sascha Ring, aka Apparat, recently released the single “Ash/Black Veil” from his forthcoming album The Devil’s Walk. The album drops September 26 on Mute Records to much fan anticipation after a considerable hiatus from a full solo release.
Ring has also changed up his live performance in recent times, incorporating a full band in his sets in contrast with the DJ oriented sets of the past.
Bonus remix comes from Russian producer Mokhov, an emerging IDM artist that I wrote about last week. It’s tasteful dubstep that doesn’t attempt to outshine the original work, yet still manages to throw some unique flavor into the mix.
