“We Used To Wait” was recently featured in an awesome, first-of-its-kind browser music video orchestrated by the Chrome team and Arcade Fire’s artistic department. The premise is simple: enter in your childhood home address and Street View (of Google Maps) will do the work to include your street in the music video. The assumption runs on your having grown up in a suburb, but hey! It worked for me, even though my suburb was in Cape Town, South Africa!
Not only was I highly impressed by the concepts — I found myself reminded that this is one of my favorite songs off their new album. No doubt, I’ve found myself surprised by the fact that I actually enjoy this album (whereas I felt their last attempt was…lacking).
