After writing for several music weeklies in the Northeast, I began missing the South desperately (I was raised in Georgia, daughter of a pastor. Yeah, I know... how cliche.) I returned to my Southern roots and reside in Austin where I plan to teach middle school English. You're asking, what does any of this have to do with music? I just like it, I guess.
