I really just can’t get enough of Ava Luna… especially their single, “Ice Level.” It’s a haunting, soulful and slightly bleak experimental indie gem.
“Ice Level” is the kind of song that fearlessly whacks a path into the unknown. The compilation of instruments and effects carried out so flawlessly and constructed is not something you commonly hear in the independent music world. This is a tasteful approach to an avant-garde song that beautifully teeters on the edge of organization and obscurity. As you’re listening to this track, and any other Ava Luna music for that matter, you’ll probably notice that it has no boundaries and thrives on the unexpected. It’s quite the gift to be able to execute such unique music that could easily be disoriented and sloppy.
