What's so good?
By tobiashandke | Oct 08, 2013

As Lorde continues to dominate the charts around the globe, it's safe to assume the music blogosphere will be turning their attention  to anything slightly interesting that comes out of New Zealand. Now, I can't profess to finding The Basement Tapes on my own, but I will take the credit for sharing vibrant single "I'm Walking Away." FYI, this has nothing to do with Craig David.

I was instantly hooked from the get-go with this one, and tip my hat to the Auckland producer. I can't quite pin down what exactly drew me in (the chilled house groove, indie handclaps, or the docile, sampled female vocals), but whatever it was, "I'm Walking Away" has an it factor that had me hitting repeat all day.

If you like what you hear, you can download first release, The Vapour E.P, here.
