Kitsuné Maison's French electro mainstay BeatauCue released their first full length EP, Lyrel, two weeks ago, and it's taken me just about that long to process its intensity. The pair had also dropped a preview minimix a few weeks ago, which is a work of art in itself."Lyrel" is the EP's title track, and it sets a forceful pace for other songs. (I cannot help but find the next song's title, "Kickin' Back," to be incredibly ironic. This music is the opposite of chill!) "Lyrel" is pulsing with energy from the first second, and the best word to describe it might be "relentless," though there are some nice lulls and builds which break it up a bit.Go listen and then accomplish something great because with this music, you definitely can.
