What's so good?

Covers come in all shapes and sizes (including Spongebob Squarepants bed covers). In the music world the most frequent are, of course, acoustic performances — and those also happen to be those with the lowest recording quality (ie, they suck).

So, it’s nice when a band actually sits down and goes through the motions of properly recording and producing their own rendition of someone else’s work.

This playlist highlights 10 of the best covers that we’ve featured on Indie Shuffle in the last year, including multiple appearances by Radiohead and Neal Young. The genres are diverse, as are the sounds. And that’s the way we like our covers!
