Björk’s back on the scene, and her music is as relevant as ever. Featuring modern percussion, sparse instrumentation, and a trippy vibe, “Crystalline” marks the first single from her upcoming album Biophilia, set to be released on September 26, 2011.
Curiously, this album is billed as “the first app album,” collaborating with Apple to produce it as such. While this alone piques my interest, the change in vibe of through the last 30 seconds of this song does just as much to make me curious about what’s next.
