Bon Iver vs. Friendly Fires & Aeroplane

While driving to work today, Bon Iver's "Lump Sum" began playing. The song was perfectly appropriate for the environment I was surrounded by: Bay Area cloudiness. On the flip side, most of you in the Northern hemisphere are actually enjoying some type of warmth and/or sunlight. So playing such a song might not be entirely appropriate. ...unless it features Friendly Fires.The Hood Internet's mashup (a year or so in age) puts a fantastic spin on this beautiful song, introducing a touch of the "disco" element that Friendly Fires are so well known for. I would never have expected the blend to work as well as it does, but here you have it (the notable exception is that the end of the song begins to transition to another track on their mixtape).
