Brooklyn-based indie outfit Bowmont previously came to my attention a few weeks back with the track “Ruphmiup,” and has since been on my radar. Bowmont can easily be described as an indie rock band that efficiently uses ambient electronic sounds to create a warm poppy sound to chill to. A comment from their Tumblr page says it best, “When indie rock kissed electronic.”
Their new track “Look Closely” was recently shared over on their SoundCloud page, and much like “Ruphmiup,” the simplistic sound instantly brings you in for a smooth ride.
