What's so good?

For those who went into withdrawal without a weekly dose of Walter White (Bryan Cranston), Season 2 of AMC’s Breaking Bad returned a year later to take its viewers to all new highs… and devastating lows.
While the nerve-racking drama never misses a beat, this season just might make your heart skip one. From the mysterious foreshadowing of what’s soon to come to new love, lies, and life — Breaking Bad Season 2 will leave you confused, anxious, restless, and yet itching for more every week.
However, there’s no denying that the key ingredient to the most intoxicating show AMC has cooked up is its addictive soundtrack. The music (usually composed of a dash of rap, hint of reggae, a dab of instrumental, a tad of rock, smidge of oldies, and sprinkled with blues) creates such an atmosphere that may leave one wondering, “Am I stoned on meth?”
Fortunately, getting high through watching TV isn’t a technology that’s been developed, yet. But thanks to its tracks, Breaking Bad does arouse a similar feeling. The music supervisors have constructed a solid lineup of songs to set the transformation of Walter White into Heisenberg (easily comparable to the change of Anakin Skywalker into Darth Vader), in my opinion peaking with the use of TV on the Radio’s haunting “DLZ”. The mix of the acting and cinematography laced with this track is sure to create a feeling that words won’t even justify.
