What's so good?

C2C is a quintet formed in the late 90′s that is reviving the art of turntablism. Dominating the DMC Championship four years in a row, these high school friends have garnered a wide fanbase with the interdisciplinary taste involved in every track.

Using turntablism to a pristine degree, 20Syl, Greem, Pfel, and Atom simultaneously work their own styles with varying instrumental loops to compose orchestral pieces that, with a swipe of the wrist, can slip from jazz to hip hop into blues. And finally they’ve arrived with their first full length album Tetra, due out next month.

The single “Down The Road” delivers gusto with an introductory guitar strum that’s syncopated into a myriad of other trumpet, sax, and electronic wavelengths. The song is ripe with Western feel, a slow-slung cowboy tale that has enough drawl to make you forget that these boys are from France…no cowboys in sight.

Soon to be making their presence in America, these men are bringing back the technical aspects of turntablism, and when they arrive it will be an irretrievable movement.
