What's so good?

Why don't artists release new music on the weekend? Seriously, I'm left flailing here! So much so that I have very little choice but to publish a throwback, Caribou's "Melody Day."

The song is the opening opening track to Andorra, an album which won Caribou the 2008 Polaris Music Prize (an award Feist picked up this year for her album Metals).

Overall, it's a great original track, and for that managed to sneak its way into the SOTD slot. That, and it flashes me back to my time in San Deigo.
