The first single, “Cloudlight,” is a magical exploration of uplifting yet seemingly dark electronic sounds paired with soothing vocals. Sit back and enjoy as you’re taken into the depths of your senses where imagination trumps reality.

The major flaw of this album is that it has little value outside of its humor. The songs don’t lend themselves well to the dance floor or as background music, and their technical merit isn’t exactly breathtaking. The best satire strives to be much more than a silly over-the-top reproduction of that at which it pokes fun. This album is more “Scary Movie” than it is “Scream;” it loudly proclaims itself to be a comedy by taking every irritating cliché and ratcheting it up a few notches, rather than taking a more subtle, and ultimately more devastating, method of attack.

The two-step rhythm in The Streets’ “Blinded by the Lights” makes the song a perfect candidate for a dubstep remix. This new Nero remix doesn’t actually change much from the original, but the ground shaking bass and the trippy delay on the vocals makes for an entirely different listening experience, which is exactly what a good remix should do. Some moments are absolutely flooring. Find some good speakers or some good headphones, sit back, maybe light up a bit, and treat yourself to this bass assault.
