Charlotte Gainsbourg was one of my first girl crushes. She’s French, gorgeous in a subtle-but-sexy way, and happens to be extremely talented. Well, I never saw Antichrist, but hey, sometimes a girl has to make a creepy movie every now and then.
Her latest single, “Paradisco,” is a catchy electro pop song that you’ll never want to end. It comes off of double LP Stage Whisper, a collection of Gainsbourg’s live and unreleased material (to be released on December 13).
It comes as no surprise that “Paradisco” was written and produced by Beck. Talent attracts talent, right?
By the way, in case you’re wondering… no, this song does not sample drum beats from Queen’s “Another One Bites the Dust.” The drum programming comes from the Samps member Cole M.G.N.
