I think Charlotte Gainsbourg is pretty damn sexy, even after watching her rather strange performance in the 2009 indie flick Antichrist. Admittedly, I’m not too familiar with her music, but this Boys Noize remix of “Trick Pony” is more than enough to grab my attention.
Boys Noize tunes are really hit or miss for me — I either love ‘em or hate ‘em. Charlotte’s voice adds a little sex appeal to Boys Noize’s electro melody on this remix, so I instantly felt the urge to shake my groove thang.
Sometimes it takes a remix to introduce a different audience to someone’s music. Next up on my agenda is to check out more original tunes from Charlotte’s albums.
