Clap Your Hands Say Yeah is back! I remember seeing these guys perform in a basement in Boston back in 2005. Their sound (and popularity) has come a long way since then.
Produced by John Congleton (Explosions In The Sky, Okkervil River, The Mountain Goats), Hysterical marks Clap Your Hands Say Yeah’s first new album in more than four years, and “Same Mistake” is the first single off it. “Same Mistake” sounds like the Clap Your Hands Say Yeah I was dancing to back in college, only the vocals are smoother and polished. With a strong, steady beat, it’s the perfect combination of indie pop and indie rock — fun, catchy, and fresh.
