Boy am I happy today! Why? Because there’s a brand spankin’ new single from one of my favorite bands Cold War Kids! For a band that’s pretty quiet on the Facebook and Twitter front, the release of “Miracle Mile” was rather unexpected but let me assure you, very warmly welcomed as most of you will agree.
The Californian indie rockers fourth studio album Dear Miss Lonelyhearts will be released on April 1st. It’s definitely one of the most highly anticipated releases this coming year.
Moving forward from their last album Mine is Yours released back in 2011, “Miracle Mile” sees the band heading to some uncharted territory in some pretty upbeat indie pop/rock. The one thing that remains are Nathan Willett’s trademark powerful and emotive vocals on the track, which in any given Cold War Kids song touches our very hearts.
