So I don't know what the place where you work at is like, but I can't imagine in your wildest dreams you'd find yourself brokering stocks surrounded by marching bands and hookers.  I guess we can't all be Leonardo DiCaprio in The Wolf Of Wall Street. Finding himself playing a lead in yet another Scorsese film, DiCaprio plays Jordan Belfort, based on the memoirs of the true-life stock broker who made his fortune during the 90s with a penchant for money, drugs, and sex.  Belfort builds up his company starting as a boiler room in an auto body shop with a few desks into a company doing business with Steve Madden and opening up a world of excess, filled with drugs, depravity, and pure greed. Filled with an all-star cast including the likes of Jonah Hill playing one of Belfort's partners, Matthew McConaughey as his mentor, and Jon Favreau as his lawyer, The Wolf Of Wall Street finds itself as an even more morally corrupt version of Wall Street, with Belfort making Gordon Gecko seem like boy scouts and enough scenes making this an awkward movie to go see with your mother or grandmother (it has the ability to make even a hardened rapper blush). As for music,  the film's music supervisor Randall Poster got a chance to go to town.  It includes 60 different tracks ranging from genre and decade, and features some classic 90s hip-hop from the likes of Cypress Hill, and a great scene with the guys singing along to "Hip Hop Hooray" on a yacht.  Reminding me of my younger days when I sang the same song with my buddies... except we were cruising around in my friend Dave's 1983 Lincoln Continental. It was kind of like a boat, I guess.  Some other tracks include Devo's "Uncontrollable Urge," the Lemonheads covering Simon and Garfunkel, new dirty blues rockers 7Horse, as well as a plethora of other classical and blues tracks. So while you probably can't drive a Ferrari like Jordan Belfort, at least you can listen to music like him.  36 month prison sentence not included.
