What's so good?

Now this is the type of song that I'm all about when I'm organizing and cleaning and just getting shit done. Colossal Mantis' "Phases" is a fresh synth pop jam that deserves a listen.

This single may sound simple at first, but if you take the time to pick it apart, there's a calculated construction that makes this mathematical track sound robotically pure. The many layers of synth coincide with each other and disguise themselves as one, when really, there are many effects happening here. The beat has a late 80s/early 90s feel and the bass encompasses a slightly gritty industrial sound.

"Phases" is a multifaceted, chilled-out atmospheric dream pop jam that can sooth your mind and calm your nerves... and who wouldn't want that?
