Cymbals Eat Guitars

These days it's not uncommon for hip-hop or electronic acts to release singles with no apparent album in sight. But, it's less common for an indie rock group to do so. I guess Cymbals Eat Guitars are looking to break the mold. "Hawk Highway" has no apparent album announcement to accompany it, but one can't help but hope that the New York-based quartet is working on a follow-up to 2011's Lenses Alien.If we're going to let this slide as a standalone, that's cool and all. I only hope they don't pull a Pinback, who recently released "True North" about a year before officially setting a release date for the accompanying album.
