What's so good?

D E N A, a Bulgarian transplant among Berlin's eclectic musical epicenter, has brought her thickly accented raps to the forefront with her breakthrough "Cash, Diamond Rings, Swimming Pools." Born as Denitza Todorova, D E N A has delved into the music scene with friends The Whitest Boy Alive who quickly acclimated her to the limelight, placing her in their sold-out performances and even swooping in for a cameo in her video for "Cash, Diamond Rings, Swimming Pools."

D E N A's "Cash, Diamond Rings, Swimming Pools" has offered me a summertime fling full of happiness and jovial smiles, minus the usual heartbreak and possible diseases. Her oddly rhymed lines and jumpy Bulgarian-to-English translations are endearing as the culmination of quirks makes for a tasty addiction. A lovely piece of music with foreign draw that tops her previous track "Boyfriend" and leaves us anticipating the next piece of musical experiments from this darling.
