Daft Punk

There's something about Daft Punk that is fully susceptible to chilled out remixes. Cherokee exemplifies this perfectly with his smooth and simplified remix of "Something About Us." The muted guitar work and teasing vocals, in particular, make this track a standout. I'm also reminded of this remix of the same song by Def Starr, which ranks up there as one of the sexiest songs I've heard.The original "Something About Us" was released by Daft Punk in 2001 as the sixth single on their album Discovery. The album itself was undeniably a conceptual piece of art to the core, serving as the soundtrack for the anime film Interstella 5555: The 5tory of the 5ecret 5tar 5ystem, which was produced by Thomas and Guy.
