There’s a crapload of indie rock going on in this song. That’s because poster boys Death Cab For Cutie have enlisted the help of Yeasayer as part of their upcoming remix album. For those of you unfamiliar with Yeasayer, they’re a Brooklyn-based that actually found themselves identified as the most talked-about blog on Hype Machine for 2010.
My guess is that “Codes and Keys (Yeasayer Remix)” will be the second track on the Codes and Keys Remix, driven by the fact that that was its placement on the original LP (and by the fact that we’ve already seen another remix single for the opener, “Home is a Fire,” here).
