Let me preface this review by saying that this song is estimated to be about six months old. So, in digital years, this track is at least a year old. Regardless of age, “City of Dreams” remains a heavyweight favorite in bars and lounges across America for pseudo-DJs and myself!
Remixer/producer Dirty South solicits the musical assistance of Alesso and Ruben for their indie side-project to create a dynamic house track that pulls on the heart strings of the broken heart, but simultaneously spurs energy, and optimism through the love pains. I adore the calm before the storm, bridge before the bass drops arrangement. It builds a high intensity suspense that does not disappointment once the storm makes land fall.
