Full disclosure: I am a big Disclosure fan. What’s weird is it’s not even about the music. Sure The Face and “Latch” still get a lot of air time at my house, but there’s just something about seeing those two young dudes make a name for themselves. It’s inspiring. Also, their live show at the Independent last month was so, so good.
While I’m not sure he produces with his brother, or has a brother for that matter, fellow UK producer Cralias is also quite popular on BBC Radio Sean. I first learned about Cralias when he emailed me a track titled “Heartbroken” back in August. I was happy to discover that fellow staff writer Dwayne was covering the London-based beatsmith as far back as February.
Cralias wrote on SoundCloud that he was just having fun with his “Latch” remix. That it’s nothing serious. That may be the case, but I seriously love it. It’s short, which is ideal for me when listening to trap beats, and creative without overdoing it. Anyone else love that slight Kanye West/Big Sean sample at the end?
