In case you’re wondering where Spoon has been lately, you might now have an answer. Turns out lead singer Britt Daniel has been playing in a band with Dan Boeckner (Wolf Parade), and Sam Brown (New Bomb Turks).
Together, the trio have created Divine Fits, a band that sounds unsurprisingly a lot like Spoon. Their debut album A Thing Called Divine Fits will be released August 28th via Merge Records.
Super groups are notorious for not living up to expectations. This one seems it might be an exception.
