A couple weeks back, I shared DJ Koze’s “Track ID Anyone“ featuring electronic wunderkind Caribou, and seeing as how I’m totally amped his for long-awaited double LP album dropping later this month, I proudly give you “My Plans,” featuring the austere vocal stylings of Matthew Dear.
This collaboration is definitely the more bizarre one out of the two I have heard, but it’s undeniably catchy nonetheless. Throughout the song you might hear some R&B influence intertwined, with layered synth and colorful micro-house guidance — but when combined, this track brings forward big things in terms of what we can expect to find in Amygdala.
