Django Django have a hell of a name, and to make matters worse, they’ve self-titled their new album. As the esteemed blogger Song, by Toad points out, that makes a post title look like a bit of a joke. As such, I’ve opted to cover their single “Firewater.”
Featuring a claptrack and bluesy licks, I could easily see the UK natives standing tall on a stage at San Francisco’s Bluegrass Festival. Alas, they’re all the way across the pond. For now, I’ll have to let my headphones provide the auditory experience.
