What's so good?

By far one of the strangest form of hip-hop remix are those in which the vocals are slowed down substantially. I've seen this referred to as a "Bluewave Edit" (see Nicolas Jaar), so I'm not too surprised to see Joneses calling this one a "Purple Edit."

In his crosshairs this time are Drake and DNTEL. Drake probably needs no intro, but I find the appropriateness of DNTEL as wonderful. You might recognize him as the second half of The Postal Service (along with Ben Gibbard of Death Cab For Cutie) -- arguably his most successful venture.

I can't say I've paid much attention to either of these individual tracks, but they mold together in a pretty relaxing way.
