What on earth are we doing posting Snoop Lion on an “indie” blog? Two reasons: 1) it’s produced by Diplo’s Major Lazer; 2) it’s good, dammit.
Ultimately I’d describe our coverage as “what you’d find at Coachella,” so that means including Snoop.
“Lighters Up” features Mavado & Popcaan, and will be included on his upcoming album Reincarnated. Gotta love the Diplo touch, courtesy of his project Major Lazer.
Overall, a pretty refreshing sound — one that I’m sure will sell out arenas worldwide.
