What's so good?

When I shared a chilled sliced of electronica titled “Plum Blossom” with you earlier this month, I was pleasantly surprised with the positive response it received. At that time, I knew very little about the track’s producer, Edamame, other than that his real name is Ed Harris and that he makes moves out of Chicagoland.

Well, I’ve gotten to know Edamame more these past few weeks, and am now excited to share his latest EP, Silhouette. It’s ambient, glitchy, smooth — everything you could ask for in an electronica EP. Edamame builds his beats on a sturdy hip-hop foundation, crafting tracks that are easy on the ears without putting you to sleep.

Take standout track “Rainstick.” It’s a perfect example of how Edamame’s nature-inspired productions walk a thin line between swag and serene.

Download Silhouette on Bandcamp, and feel the stress roll off your shoulders.
