With Danger Mouse at the production helm, it shouldn’t be surprising that LA-based duo Electric Guest sound a whole lot like Broken Bells.
If I’m remembering the story right, one of the members is a friend of a friend of Danger Mouse. The band jokingly asked if he would give their music a listen, and next they knew, the myth/legend himself was joining them to produce a full-length album. Mondo was released earlier this year to rave reviews, and is available on iTunes.
“Holiday” is set to be included as part an EP by the same name on October 23rd.
