Elephant Stone just released a video for their single “Setting Sun,” and it’s really making me yearn for the summertime.
The video is a dreamy psychedelia of warm landscapes, warped screen shots, and vintage monuments, with Elephant Stone singing about the search for eternal souls and beings. This song is as contemplative as the video while still being thoroughly entertaining and captivating. Many different cultures and ways of religion are depicted in this video, which follows the story of the song: Why are we here and where can I find my calling?
For all your existentialists out there, maybe this video can lend some perspective. If anything, it’s a seriously good track- mellow, catchy and luscious.
