Just 21 years old, Sydney electro-pop producer Elizabeth Rose has been one to watch for some time. Having seen her perform numerous occasions over her short but blossoming career, it’s been wonderful seeing her grow as a performer. She must have an incredible booking agent too, because she’s all over the place. She supported Chairlift on their recent Australian tour, and has appeared at the impressive Harvest and Parklife Festivals in late 2012.
Having already released a number of self-produced demos and remixes, she’s currently putting the finishing touches on her debut EP (due for release later this year). The first taste of this EP is the aptly-named “Ready” which continues her transition as an artist. Showcasing her typically drifting and dreamy beats, there seems to be an added finish to this track. She’s always used great samples, and those on “Ready” are fantastic – especially prominent in the engaging opening.
With more music (and no doubt, more gigs) on the way, the only way is up for Miss Rose. This we are very happy about.
