I wasn’t sure if I’d be one of the few mesmerized by this song, so I slept on it. After it stubbornly entered my dreams last night, I decided that that’s enough of a sign to share it with you all ,and I would like to publicly apologize to the track for doubting it.
Don’t let the subtlety of the first few moments fool you; “Your Love” quickly turns into trill-infused chillwave. The words, effortlessly felt by Emily Underhill’s angelic yet textured voice, add romance to this love letter. It’s an alluring piece of work worth immersing yourself into before bedtime, especially if you want to fall captive to some sweet dreams.
The singer/producer from London collaborates with Romanian producer Exal. This track comes off his forthcoming EP, To The Stars. Underhill has released two EPs of her own over the last year, “encompassing ambient, glitchy vibes topped with soothing vocal melodies and strings,” which you can preview over on Bandcamp.
