What's so good?

In case you didn’t know, Father John Misty is better know as J. Tillman, Fleet Foxes original drummer. Father John Misty is his solo project and it’s an ambitious one at that. He’s taking on his solo career with enough gusto and talent to blow you away. And this isn’t his first album! But it might be his best.

Hence his single, “Nancy From Now On,” taken from his upcoming album, Fear Fun. I can almost guarantee that you will be hooked from the very beginning. This song has a certain smoothness that breezes over the multiple genres it tends to dapple with. It twinkles with beautiful, milky vocals and harmonies, vibrant and intricate piano, a little taste of synth, classic acoustic guitar, and even a triangle. This orchestra of indie rock goodness is sure to come out on top.

Stay tuned for Father John Misty’s album review soon! His upcoming album, Fear Fun, is set to drop on May 1. Brace yourself for the infectious wave!
