What's so good?

Adelaide’s Fire! Santa Rosa, Fire! have always impressed me. They’re a band I’ll always make time to see live, and a band whose previous material I always find my way back to. Having released their debut album Sea Priest back in 2010, they’ve been part of some huge tours, supporting the likes of St Vincent, Band of Skulls and Kimbra. Two of the band members have also released material together as Manor, but F!SRF! have been a little quiet, with single “Panther Shrine” coming out over a year ago.

Currently putting the finishing touches on a new album, they recently released another single, “Codebreaker.” Still containing the band’s angular guitars and spiraling vocals, this new track also includes a funk-laden groove and a sharp horn section.

When already excellent bands start adding interesting elements into their music, it’s worth keeping an eye on. Check out their back catalogue on their Soundcloud.
