With the second weekend of Coachella looming in my near future, the overpowering feeling of anxiety leaves me with a necessary urge to do a write-up on one artist who never fails to impress me with his captivating beats and audibly pleasant electronics. Labeled as crossover artist with many musical facets, Flying Lotus has repeatedly shown his fans that he is capable of breaking the barriers of hip-hop and electronic music and is on the rise to be one of the most sought after DJ’s of his time.
Previously released on 2008’s Los Angeles, “Parisian Goldfish” is one electrified track that surely will get eager weekend 2 Coachella-goers excited for what’s to come or make restless week 1 attendees blissfully reminisce on their recent Fly Lo experience.
WARNING: Due to it’s hilariously graphic and alarming nature, Flying Lotus has built a whole website to offer you the NSFW video for “Parisian Goldfish”. Directed by Eric ‘Tim & Eric’ Wareheim and starring Dance Floor Dale, this is one video that you will never see played on MTV and one I wouldn’t recommend watching at work.
