At this point I’m tempted to call these posts “flashback Fridays,” because it’s been about 18 months since Foster The People took the world by storm with their lead single “Pumped Up Kicks.”
But there were a number of other tracks that caught some solid attention: “Don’t Stop,” “Call It What You Want,” “Houdini,” and of course…”Helena Beat.”
I put the emphasis on the last one because it hasn’t actually been featured as SOTD on Indie Shuffle before, and I figured — hey, shouldn’t it be? So in lieu of any amazing tracks being released today, here’s your almost-weekly flashback.
