What's so good?
By Devin Duckworth | Aug 25, 2012

Back in 2010, Four Tet's There Is Love In You's dexterous opener "Angel Echoes" went under the knife for a masterly crafted remix by Canadian electronic maven Daniel Snaith, aka Caribou.

Worked into this mix is a lot of dark, overlapped electronics, some sounding similar to productions found in Swim, Caribou's 2010 album release. The vocal samples from the original are kept intact while an onslaught of ominous, slippery beats are intertwined with some booty-bouncing bumps and rhythms.

While Four Tet isn't an artist I would normally get down to on a rowdy Saturday night, this mix is a highly danceable banger appropriately placing its listeners in the middle of a high-intensity dancefloor battle.
