My birthday is next month, but I'm pretty sure the UK just gave me an early present tonight. Kieran Hebden, more commonly known as Four Tet, just uploaded a stunning remix of his single "Lion" by fellow Englishman Jamie xx.Jamie xx (of The xx) has placed delicately minimal and subtle touches to Hebden's original, almost completely fading into oblivion in some magical moments. Where the original carries intensity and almost tribal overtones, Jamie xx brings a placidity to listeners.
