Fresh Meat Weekly Inbox Round-Up

Sounds like:

What's so good?

I’m always looking for those perfect songs that are good for everyday soundtracks. Sure, we all have those designated tunes we put on for certain moments — road trips, workouts, heartbreaks, dance parties, the lists are endless. But I often find that I need more of those “everyday feel good” songs that I can play at any moment.

You know the genre I’m talking about. The songs that are perfect for commutes to work and school. The songs that give you that inspiration to complete that never-ending to do list that’s been haunting you. And they are the ones that can give you just the right amount of energy during your midday slump so that you don’t have to ever consider if those 5-Hour Energy drinks actually work.

So for this week’s Fresh Meat playlist, I’ve decided to feature some songs that I think could be ideal for the moments when you’re struggling to find a great track that can fit your various moods. The artists on this round-up blend the perfect amount vocals with instruments without it being too much or too little of either. In the most ironic, yet intentional way, they can both calm you down or keep you going like the Energizer Bunny. Hopefully you’ll enjoy and see what I mean once you listen!
