Weekly Inbox Round-Up
Fresh Meat

What's so good?

By | April 6th, 2011

Another week come and gone, another batch of fresh music. As much as I’ve tried to have some order and method to this playlist, I’m realizing it’s harder to stick to one genre each week than it is to have a random assortment of jams. But hey, everyone needs a little spice to shuffle up their weekly routine, right?

So, since there is no particular method to the madness of this round-up, I’ve selected five songs that I just can’t get enough of this week. The Kickback makes me nostalgic for lazy, crazy summer days. Both Tiny Danza and Smokey Robotic make me want to stop what I’m doing and bust a move right in the middle of the streets. Balto’s emotional ballad makes me yearn for a European adventure. And I can only dream of ever having powerhouse vocals like those heard inĀ Bluebell.

Each artist brings their own unique sound to this week’s playlist, and they are all talented emerging acts you should keep your eye on and track their next move. I hope you enjoy the tracks as much as I do!
