What's so good?

Sometimes the simplest songs are the best, and today’s Friday Five seeks to prove that adage.
All of today’s tracks are little more than a sweet female voice and a softly strummed guitar – and maybe a flute to help things along. These tracks from a handful of 60s and 70s female vocalists are airier than a summer’s breeze, and are officially required listening at this time of year in the Northern Hemisphere.
Some of them have been reworked, adding a little electronic edge to an otherwise acoustic, dreamy track. Enjoy!
