What's so good?

There are a lot of huge wins when it comes to moving back to San Francisco — the beauty, the food, and, oh yeah, the music. But, the summer weather isn’t really one of them. Every evening, like clockwork, a wall of fog comes rolling in over the western reaches of the city, bringing with it a vicious wind that cuts to your core. “Happy summer,” we say to each other, teeth chattering.
Thank goodness for those perks. Chilly summer days or not, I wouldn’t give my heart to any other city. In that vein (and on this particularly grey June day), I present to you this week’s Friday Five, a collection of Bay Area-based artists, in honor of our own beloved Fog City.
