Really, summer? You’re leaving already? What’s your deal, man? I really liked you. I feel like we had a really good time and now you’re leaving just as quickly as you arrived. I wish there was something I could do or say to make you stay but I guess every season has its time. No, no — don’t cry, I’m not mad. We’ll meet again.

I can’t believe summer is coming to a close already. Twas the season for scantily clad clothing, ice cream, cookouts and sweat stains. I, for one, am excited for the fall, but would also like to give summer a proper farewell. After all, it was quite kind to me here on the East Coast.

Summer is also great inspiration for uplifting music, whether it helps you chill out in the heat or cut a rug at some outdoor dance party. So before you bid the summer adieu, take a listen to these five songs and recap the past 2 or 3 months of your hopefully sensational season!
