What's so good?

Back in November, I gave you a preview of Hysteria, FTHRSN’s most recent EP. Since then I have been graced with a single that is sure to fill your auricles with hypnotic, sun-drenched pleasure.

“On Our Way” is a track that is said to come from an upcoming release in June, although no name has been decided yet. What we get from FTHRSN here is definitely a familiar implication of sounds, not straying too far from what made Hysteria so enjoyable. Underdown’s usually washed out vocals sound a bit more clarified while the layers upon layers of beats chime and flutter in steady fashion.

Heavily influenced by a collaboration FTHRSN’s Macklin Underdown recently took part in with three incredible dancers,  “On Our Way” creates a spaced-out dance party in your bedroom (and the accompanying video will verify it). The footage from the video is from a live performance in his hometown of Ann Arbor, MI at a space called Work Gallery. The video was taken by Ann Arbor’s Jeremy Daly (he plays music under Lou Breed), which was shot on his iPhone. The live visual projections in the video were from Think or Smile‘s Nathaniel Whitcomb.
